• Our team member Ing. David Ettel started his doctoral internship in the research group of Ing. Libor Juha, CSc. at the Department of Radiation and Chemical Physics (PALS Centre). 10 March 2022.

2021

• Our team members Ing. Ondřej Havelka and Dr. Rafael Omar Torres Mendieta were recognized with an honorable mention within the CRYTUR 2021 Awards for the best diploma thesis in material sciences in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

• Our team member Dr. Rafael Omar Torres Mendieta, won the first place in the EIT Jumpstarter grand finale in the Rawmaterials category with the business idea Nano-Pure-Precision. 03 December 2021.

• Our team member Ing. Ondřej Havelka was awarded the “Award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for outstanding students and graduates in the study program and for extraordinary deeds of students for 2021“

• The master thesis of our team member Ing. Ondřej Havelka was awarded the TUL Rector’s Award.

• Our team member Dr. Rafael Omar Torres Mendieta, won the first place in the ANGEL Decennial award, category best image related to ANGEL research, 01 December 2020.

2019

• Our team member Dr. Rafael Omar Torres Mendieta, started a postdoctoral internship at the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil, with Prof. Honoris Causa, Elson Longo (01 September 2019 – 29 February 2020). Research on synthesis of heterojunctions in semiconductors by ablation with pulsed lasers.
